On Friday 28th October 2022, our Spelling Bee Team entered the Finals of the ICBL/Starcom National Junior Spelling Bee Competition held at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre (LESC). It was a tense competition and the spelling words were quite difficult. After the first round, only 28 children remained from the 97 who started. As successive rounds were undertaken, the words became increasingly difficult but we are pleased to report that Master Josiah Griffith (pictured above) stayed the course and captured the third place prize. We are extremely proud of our Spelling Bee Team's efforts and are thankful to God for the third place on this occasion. We look forward to entering again next year should it take place. Well done Josiah!!
The People’s Cathedral Primary School was established in 1987 with a roll of 27 students. It was born out of a burden the Lord had given The Late Rev. Dr. Holmes Williams, Senior Pastor Emeritus of The People’s Cathedral, of the need for a Christian school as an extension of the Christian home in training young people for time and eternity.
